Last Post 2010

It has been a long time since my last post but I'm back! After a long hiatus I have returned with the results of my latest hunt. No great TH finds in here, just some of what I think are the harder to find cars for 2010 here at where I live. You may have seen better hauls but I must say I was lucky to come across the 2011 cards fairly early. But hey beggars can't be choosers :)

Ok enjoy the pics. Must say that green Mustang TH still eludes me. Same goes for the 911 and the 458 Italia. I doubt if i'll ever find it. Sigh.

There's a bat in here somewhere. Can you find it?

The Lotus was one of the more memorable cars of the 2010 speed machines. My favourite !

2011

All in 2 weeks. An achievement for me.

Better looking cards in a long while

My apologies. Need to take better pictures next time. I promise.

Now can somebody please tell me how to display all these cars? Too many of them LOL. Looking forward to 2011. Thanks for dropping by :)

High Speed Boys

Wanted to share with you the High Speed Boys. Although small at 1/87 scale i'm amazed at the amount of detail that they have. I think you would agree with me better than some 1/64 castings. So enjoy the pics.

High Speed Mercedes CLK DTM, Porsche GT3 2000, AC Cobra ( 1/87)

ramblings

It's been a while since my last post. I've noticed that the more i get into this my interest is sparked even more. Hotwheels was what got me started into this in the first place then Matchbox. Slowly but surely i'm piqued by other collectors and they introduced me to more exotic stuff i.e Jada, Maisto then Johnny lightning, M2, Tomica Limited then Kyosho, Autoart. Haih!! how to stop this?? Lolol. Help!

But i'm gonna take it S..L...O....W. Otherwise it's gonna drive me nuts. Oh yeah and another thing, it's about those green little things that's also driving me up the wall..Treasure Hunts! Well it's damn near impossible to find one hanging about. When was the last time you ever saw or even bought one? Never? Yeah I thought so too.

There's something fishy about those THs (read  shhh...we never display them but don't tell anyone) anyways if it is your cup of tea, goodluck in finding them. It really is like looking for treasure. Afraid i'm gonna start dreaming about kyosho..kyosho..in my dreams.

This was what i found recently. A Mr. Orange but here it comes with a pull back action. Pretty nifty and the detailing quite accurate too. It's  the 911 GT3 RS

Looks good eh. Welly did a god job

Sell your missus. Sell everything you have

Ok stop drooling now

RS monicker is legendary. It's older than you or me i'm afraid.

head to head

Finally decided to open another 2 more classics today. Was quite a tough decision but I thought to myself if it were still in the cards the beauty would not be fully appreciated by everyone. To open or not?..open, yes or no? no or yes? I'm sure we've all been through this right? Finally, what the hey! So today ladies and gentlemen will be a head to head between the new Lotus Evora and the classic 250 GTO by Ferarri.

There's something about classics that makes it what it is. It's in the lines. You just know they're classic.

Bulging arches. Gotta love those curves.

Curvy!

You just know it's Lotus and a Ferrari

Old is gold

Here it is my first  newbie posting. Gonna give it a try to take pics of 2 of my favourite castings. Both oldies but still like gold.

The iconic Ferrari P4. You don't get to see designs like these anymore.

And now for the Superbird. This one in 2010 green. Just look at that rear spoiler. Toyota Supra who?

The wing that launched a million dreams. Not to mention a lot of fibreglass and now carbon fibre spin offs. But non can beat the original.

Hope guys like it. Still learning the ropes of blogging as well as die-cast  cars and photography at the same time. See you soon.
